How to Get A Six Pack Abs in Four Weeks

We all would love to have six pack abs.  We all have six pack abs but most of us have a layer of fat that covers them up.  I am going to give you a few simple step to follow to obtain the six pack abs you have always dreamed about.

First I am going to give you a few simple exercises to do every day that will only take you about thirty minutes to complete.  I would like you to start out with the simple ab crunch.  You will need to find a soft spot to lie down to do this exercise.  Lie down flat on your back and cross your arms over your chest.  Please remember to not cross your arms behind your head.  There have been studies that have proven that this will cause you unnecessary back pain later on.  Bend your knees and lift your chest up.  Repeat this thirty times and then take a thirty second break.  You want to do these four times to add up to one hundred and twenty crunches.

The second exercise we are going to do is leg lifts.  Lie flat on your back, with your legs together, and swing your legs up swiftly.  After they are all the way up you will want to bring them down slowly without touching the ground.  Repeat this forty times and then take a thirty second break.  You want to do these four times to add up to one hundred and sixty leg lifts.  After you complete your exercise you want to stretch your stomach muscles to optimize your results.  Lie flat on your stomach and use your arms to push your chest upwards leaving your legs on the floor.  You should treat working out like you do a job.  Do the best you can do and never miss a day.   When payday comes along you will reap the benefits.

Along with steady exercise you will need to monitor your diet.  It is recommended that you drink at least eight glasses of water but drinking ten to twelve glasses is better.  You need to watch your carbohydrate intake as well.  A good rule of thumb is stay away from white food like rice, bread and potatoes.  You can replace your carbohydrates with lean meat, cheese and vegetables.  You also need to watch your portion size.  Americans typically tend to overeat.  Your portions should be the size of two half dollars.  You need to have an eating routine as well as an exercise routine.  If you do not eat regularly it will throw your body off and you may not have the best results.  You don’t want to do all the work and not see any results so eating small meals multiple times a day will help.  You also want to make sure that you don’t eat or drink anything but water before you exercise.  If you do it can cause you to cramp and then you will not be able to complete your exercise.
